Established in 2003, the Coalition serves as a watchdog, advocating for responsible resource use that benefits both present and future generations. It plays a pivotal role in supporting civil society organizations (CSOs) involved in natural resource governance, fostering dialogue between government, private sector, and local communities to influence policies that protect community rights and promote sustainability. Central to its mission is amplifying the voices of marginalized communities affected by resource extraction, raising awareness on land rights, environmental protection, and community welfare through advocacy, media engagement, and public outreach.
